Every year we host a Run for the River 5 km walk/run in Hunter River. It's a morning full of fun, with prizes to be won, live music, lawn games and a BBQ to follow. All proceeds go directly to the watershed and put towards local conservation and restoration!

This year's Run for the River event will be held on May 16th, 2026 at Kent G. Ellis Park in Hunter River. Check in at 9:45am, race starts at 10:30am.
