About Us
Our non-profit community group was formed in 1999 to preserve and restore the health of the Hunter River Watershed in North Central Queens County, Prince Edward Island, Canada. We focus on creating a sustainable future for the local community through the protection and preservation of our waterways and the native flora and fauna.

Our Goals
1. To enhance & restore the ecological balance of the watershed area.
2. To improve freshwater & sea-run fish access to headwaters for spawning.
3. To reduce siltation, and to improve depth, current and flow of our streams & rivers.
4. To increase the diversity & population of native plant species adjacent to our waterways
5. To promote good landowner stewardship and engage & educate the watershed communities.
